MEDITATION & MINDFULNESS FOR BEGINNERS
WEDNESDAYS 6:30PM (OCTOBER 16 - NOVEMBER 20 ) . ST KILDA
If you are new to the concept of Meditation - this is the perfect place to start! And no ... you won't be sitting on your bum in complete silence... there are endless methods we will explore so that you can find one that best suits you!
A meditation practice can help us to calm our often very busy minds, reducing stress, anxiety, depression, chronic pain and so much more. It enables us to develop greater clarity, a more positive mindset, and approach to the ups and downs of life.
Each week we will explore a range of simple and easy meditation techniques, such as:
visualisations - body awareness -- breath - gratitude meditation - mindfulness- mantras - object focus - chakra meditation- japa- moving meditation- there are endless methods for us to explore!
- 30 - 40 mins of guided meditations to help you breathe, relax, let go, make space.
- We will make time for discussion, reflection & share our insights in a safe, supportive environment.
WHAT TO BRING
- Wear comfortable clothing.. bring something warm as your body temperature may drop during meditation.
- A notebook (to take notes/journal)
- Herbal teas and nibbles provided.

Wednesdays 6:30pm - 7:30pm.

- $18 casual
- or $95 for all 6 sessions
- Cash on the night is much appreciated.
This workshop is limited to 6 participants only. It will be a very cosy, supportive group!

Holly began meditating 4 years ago, as a strategy to better manage anxiety, stress, burn-out, chronic pain & emotional trauma. She is very passionate about sharing how meditation can be of benefit to our physical, mental, emotional and spiritual wellbeing.
