Introduction to Meditation - At Island Healing. Phillip Island
Whether you are completely new, or experienced with Meditation & Mindfulness practices - these weekly sessions with Holly will enable you to deepen your sense of peace, clarity, focus, balance, creativity & approach to the ups and downs of life.
Meditation is the formal practice of mindfulness.
A meditation practice can help us to calm our often very busy minds, reduce stress, anxiety, depression, chronic pain and so much more. Meditation enables us to develop a deeper connection to our soul essence & our intuition. We become observers of our self-talk, habitual patterns & beliefs.
Each week we will explore different approaches to meditation & mindfulness
and share an evening of grounding, relaxation, beauty and fun!
visualisations - body awareness - breath - gratitude meditation - mantras - object focus - chakra meditation- japa- sound meditation - moving meditation- there are endless methods for us to explore...
SESSIONS INCLUDE
- 30 - 40 mins of guided meditation to help you breathe, relax, let go, make space.
- We will make time for discussion, reflection & share our insights in a safe, supportive environment.
- Take the time to re-centre & reconnect to YOU.
WHAT TO BRING
- A pillow
- Wear comfortable clothing.. bring something warm as your body temperature may drop during meditation.
- A notebook if you wish to take notes/journal.
